Send a message to the Sperrin Og Ladies
02 November 2011
We have setup a server to record Skype messages from people living abroad so you can wish the ladies good luck this weekend. If possible we would like to get all messages by Friday morning so we can process them before the weekend.
The Skype software can be downloaded free from the
Skype website.
Once you are logged in, click "Add a Contact" and search for Skype Name GreencastleGAA.
When you have added the user, you will be asked to send a request to GreencastleGAA.
Click Send and GreencastleGAA will be added to the user's contact list.
There is no need to get authorised for this account, so you should be able to click either Video Call or Call Skype (and then manually switch on your video) to connect.
Our computer will automatically answer the call and play a voicemail message (15secs). You should ensure you can see your video on your screen while this is playing.
Note: No video will be shown from GreencastleGAA.
Wait a few seconds after the tone before leaving a message and don't worry if you make a mistake during the recording, just start again and we can remove the mistakes.
You will get a confirmation message if your recording has saved successfully, otherwise please try again.
If you continue to have problems email michael.mcnamee@btinternet.com for help recording your message.
