1949

The Annual General Meeting was held in the Parochial Hall on 23rd February with a very large attendance. H. Daly, the Chairman, recognised the great support within the Parish. Evidently all through its existence, the club had always enjoyed a huge support for the native game. Mr John Bradley, treasurer, reported that the club finished the year with a credit balance of £41 5s 9d after commencing the year with no assets whatsoever. M.C. McAleer PET gave the Secretary's report in the absence of Mr B. Hoy who had moved away from the district.

Officers elected for the year were:

Chairman: H. Daly
Secretatry: Michael J. Keenan
Assistant Secretary: Mr M.C. McAleer
Treasurer: John Bradley
Committee: F. O'Brien, P. Tracey, E. Fox, M. McAleer, C. Meenan, J. Donnelly, Captain M. McAleer, Vice-Captain C.J. Donnelly

The league didn't appear to get off to a very successful start and for whatever reason, the club withdrew from the league at the May meeting of the West Tyrone Board. It seems that because of this, the Board did not include the club in the Championship draw.
