SENIOR MEN
The seniors and reserves both gained valuable points from their games with Derrylaughan last Thursday. The seniors led by 1-4 to 0-5 at half-time thanks to an Emmett Clarke goal and excellent displays in defence from Barry McGarvey and Sean Warnock. A second Greencastle goal from Darren McKenna at the start of the second half gave the seniors a five point lead which Derrylaughan could have cancelled out on the seventh minute but the shot was bravely blocked by Niall Hollywood. Derrylaughlan did reduce the margin to one point near the end of the game but Greencastle finished the game strongest to win by three, 2-8 to 0-11. The reserves had less of a challenge winning easily by 15 points, 4-12 to 3-0. Next games are at home to Dromore on  Wed 8th June at 6:45pm and 8:00pm.
