SCÓR NA NÓG
Tyrone representatives claimed two of the eight titles in the 2012 Scór na nÓg Ulster Final in Galbally on Saturday evening but unfortunately Ciara Fox wasn't one of them, narrowly missing out on a place in the All-Ireland final for the second year.
Congratulations to Ciara on winning the Tyrone Scór na nÓg title and getting to the Ulster final again this year. It is an impressive achievement to get this far and hopefully next year will see Ciara go one step further.
Also, a big thank you to Ciara and her family for all their efforts to represent the Greencastle club throughout the year.
EIMEAR TEAGUE
A big congratulations to Eimear Teague on winning the Gaelic Life All Star Award for Ladies player of the year.
IRISH CLASSES
Beginners Irish Class for adults starts this Thursday 19th January 8pm-9.30pm in the hall £2 per night. The class can decide on the length 6-12 weeks possible. Contact Sinéad Warnock on 02881648817
2012 COMMUNITY SHOWCASE
After the success of last year's performance we are asking for parishioners to take part in Greencastle's production for the 2012 Community Showcase.
This will take place between Wednesday 28th and Saturday 31st March in the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, so we need to get the group formed asap.

CULTURAL MEETING
This year’s Cultural Night is being held on Friday 16th March 2012 and we are calling all singers, dancers and musicians to come along to the Community Centre on Monday 23rd January at 8pm to arrange a programme for the night. COACHING COURSE
Greencastle will host a “Bring Back Kicking” course on Thurs 19th January at 7:30pm. This course is free of charge and all club coaches are asked to attend. Dromore will be hosting a “Develop Tackling” course on Wed 25th January at 7:30pm.
GAELIC START
Gaelic Start will commence from today, Thursday 17th January for 4 weeks at 7pm
LOTTO
Lotto jackpot is now £6,650. Last week’s letters were A-I-M-T-V. One person with 4 letters won £100.
LADIES MINOR TRAINING
Minor girls training will take place this Friday night at 7pm and will be outside.
